How to Saddle a Horse    by RaceaJade

Have you ever wondered how to saddle a horse well hopefully after you read this you will know how. The first step to saddling a horse is gathering the tack you will need. That includes a saddle, saddle pad, and a bridle. Once you have the tack gathered, then the second step would be to catch your steed and tie him or her to the fence. The third step would be to brush off your horse. Then the fourth step is placing the saddle pad on your horse's back. The fifth step is placing the saddle on your horse. Once that is done you can move on to the sixth step and that is tightening everything on the saddle in this order, the front cinch, the back cinch, then the breast collar. The seventh and final step is putting the bridle on and to do that you just place the bit in your horse's mouth and slide the leather part over your horse's ear. And that is the seven steps to saddling your horse.

Mornings at the Field by Josie

The air freezes around me

My breath, fog before my face

I smile, though no one can see

For this is my happy place.

The grass is fresh, the morning new

I'm truly on holy ground

My fingers trace the early dew

My breath the only sound.

Frozen fingers lace my cleats

This is where champions train

Here there's no wimps or cheats

Only work, sweat and pain.

I don't play for glory or for fame

But for my God on high

For some, every day's the same

But I decide to rise.

So with these thoughts, I stand up tall

And face the wide white net

My foot gently taps the ball

And I shoot with pure intent.

Fall by Taryn

The feeling of the leaves in my hands

as they crumble in small pieces.

I can hear the birds flying in the sky

as they sing their songs to the world.

The smell of pumpkin spice

and roasted chicken in the air.

The taste of pumpkin pie and other good foods

fill my mouth with good flavor.

As I look out the window

I see the leaves falling from the trees.

So gracefully

Falling to the ground.

The Beach by Destiny D.

You feel the waves crash against your legs,

And the sand between your toes.

You hear the laughs of the little children,

And the seagulls squawking in the distance.

You smell the salt from the ocean,

And the sunscreen from those wary of the sun.

You see the boats sailing in the distance,

And the never ending horizon.

You taste the salt as you come from the water,

And the ice cream as you eat to cool off.

If the Internet Crashed Forever by Addison

If the internet crached forever, life would be better than amazing!  For me, the internet isn't a big deal.  If it crashed, people would actuallly talk to each other in person.  With the internet, everyone calls and texts.  Second, without internet, many people would be relieved of addicitons to social media, online games, etc.  They would be able to do things with their lives.  Third, people's eyes would be less tired.  We spend so much time a day looking at a sscreen on a device that it really hurts your eyes.  All of these are great reasons why it would be a good thing if the internet crashed forever.

However, if the internet were to creash, there would be some drawbacks.  First of all, the internet is great for research.  It makes searching for facts so much easier!  In addition, the internet can help people who are seperated to contact each other.  Whether by phone or email, contact can be helpful.  Finally, the internet can help people who cannot access college campuses get an education online.  So you see, the internet can help us a lot.

In conclusion, if the internet were to crash forever, many people would be affected.  What do you think about the internet?

What if the Internet Crashed by Gracie

What if the internet were to crash forever?  Would the world practically come to an end? Would people go crazy? It's kind of hard to tell.  Internet is a constant use in every day life.  Some people might not be affected by this; however, most of the world would go bonkers. With nothing to do, they would be forced to go outside or do something instead of scrolling through instagram trying to get an update about all the news about what's going on in the world.  Another thing, I'm pretty sure nobody wants to be forced to go to the library every time they complete research.  Also, people don't want to send letters to contact a person on the other side of town.  They would rather speed text, 24/7.  However, if the internet did crash, it might not be a bad thing.  You could become a better reader by reading more often.  You can also hang out with family.  People could actually learn to live again.  Sure people might "die" when they can't watch cooking shows on Netflix, but then they can make their own creative foods.  So what if the internet were to crash forever?  The world would go crazy but they'd get over it.  Hopefully...
